They operate with an articulated chassis, allowing for excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces. They perform short-haul operations, often transporting material to a nearby ore pass, crusher, or haul truck.

Mining Trucks typically have a rigid frame and are designed for longer haul distances within the mine. They are not as manoeuvrable as LHD Loaders but are more efficient for transporting large volumes of material over a distance.
